Fig and almond cake is an icon of Mediterranean cuisine and was consumed in ancient times as part of the regular diet. Only almonds of the best calibre and the best dried figs are selected for these cakes. Known for their sweet flavour and tiny seeds, the fine texture of the fruit creates a very smooth cake.

Easy to slice and enjoy alongside a slice of ewes milk cheese, like Manchego or Idiazabal. It can also be chopped up for salads or served alongside yoghurt or ice cream.
